The Scarborough Historical Society was founded in 1961 with the mission to collect, preserve and exhibit items of historical significance to Scarborough. Since its founding, nearly all of the Museum's acquisitions have been donated. During Museum hours and by appointment, volunteers are available to assist with research and provide tours. Meetings, open to the public, are held at the Museum in the Dunstan area of Scarborough on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. September through June.
